Friday - the sun's out!

Got to do some organisy stuff today.  First off pay the cable bill for home and put it on the right credit card, not the one that gives me frequent flier miles that I can't use.  Then find out where my drugs have got to.  In case you haven't been paying attention, I can't just grab my cancer drugs at CVS, I have to get them shipped from a specialist pharmacy.  Not much good having them shipped to home so I had changed the delivery to come here (actually to the local CVS!)  I hadn't had any notification of their arrival so I phoned everyone I could think of to discover that they hadn't apparently been ordered or shipped.  It's not a huge panic as I don't think I need them anyway and am taking them "just in case".  I'll lose no sleep if my favourite oncologist has decided to pull the plug on them, especially as my new 5mg low dose costs 3 times as much as my old 10mg dose,

Having done that, it was hit the golf course time to see how much better my left handed golf is than my right handed golf.  I had shot nine holes in 49 strokes playing right handed (my wrong hand) earlier in the week so it was clear I'd be looking at 30-odd when I played left handed (the way I've played all my life) today.  Sparing the details, I arrived on the 9th green with a 15' putt needed to beat 49.  It missed so I wound up with a 49 both left and right handed.  Quick analysis - I can beat the crap out of the ball left handed but my left handed putting is bloody terrible.  Will try again tomorrow, maybe.

It's going to pee with rain all day Sunday so I am planning to work Sunday - Tuesday next week.  Not a bad idea as I have a true idiot problem that gets twice as bad every time I fix it and it'll be nice to get that behind me ASAP.  Susan is going to get a foot of snow so I'm not sure which of us is better off - the snow is much prettier than the rain.
